The course allowed me to look at the broader context of my role and how it fits in the aviation management system as well as helped me to understand the general auditing techniques that can be implemented in different types of audits throughout various industries. It also highlighted the benefits and importance of audit planning and provided very useful techniques on how to deal with auditees.

Really enjoyable course, I’ve learnt so many new practical tools for my investigation toolbox, together with the useful planning/tracking templates we covered will I’m sure help me improve my investigation skills.

Learned a lot as it was my first SMS involvement. Your experience brings a very interesting aspect to the course and makes it really good. Great adjustment of the course to aid discussions. It also helped me to confirm my knowledge and to give me more confidence of being on the right track.

When I said I was an ‘8’ at the beginning of the course; today has made realise that in reality I was really a ‘2’.

The way the bow tie method was explained was very easy to understand, I did touch on it slightly before on another course, but the way it was delivered was not as good as today

Having a very knowledgeable tutor, it was an open forum where everybody was encouraged to have an input. It just opened my eyes WIDE!!! Really good course

I wanted to take a few minutes and thank you for the great insight you provided during the audit and investigation training. I have used the philosophies and insights, especially into EASA regulations and compliance methods, to help us navigate many challenging situations.  Most notably we have provided a satisfactory response to EASA for the audit we had, and they have closed the findings.  Additionally, our EASA auditor is from Italy and found it quite funny that we use the “MARIO” acronym to address our processes for compliance and robustness.

A very good course delivered in an engaging way by a very knowledgeable facilitator; very relevant to my engineering / maintenance role.

The whole workshop enabled me to gain a great understanding to what I require with my role, I feel increased confidence with knowledge within the regulation learning more in two days than I have managed to pick up in my initial 5 months within the business.

Thank you again for such an inspirational course, which so far was the most valuable course I’ve ever attended. It was more than expected and I believe it is probably down to the experience working in aviation industry. I feel that I have learnt lessons not only for professional but also personal life. Some of the strategies I have been applying already in my day-to-day duties however most of them are new to me and although it won’t be easy, I will try and start applying them hopefully with good results.
